Where no one speaks their language,
a travel item that speaks for your customer.
The tour leader is two blocks away. The first call still reaches them.
The third essential after the passport and insurance. Blood type, allergies, medication and the tour leader's number, read by local rescuers in one second, in their own language among 27.

For travel agencies running package tours, senior trips and student groups or selling tickets and insurance to independent travellers, and for the tour leaders who look after those customers abroad.
In an accident abroad, the first thing you hit is not the injury but the language
- The local paramedic does not speak your customer's language, and your customer is unconscious or does not speak the local one.
- During free time the tour leader is with thirty other customers, not beside the one who has collapsed.
- Older customers travel with many medicines, but the list is in a suitcase back at the hotel or only in their memory, and the local pharmacy does not know the brand names from home.
- If no one knows whom to call, the agency hears last, and head office and the family are left guessing.
Bangkok, day three of the package
- Before departure
At the pre-departure briefing, the agency registers what Anna, 68, chose to carry: blood type, shrimp allergy, heart medication and travel insurance, plus the number of Nora, her tour leader. About a minute later it is on the patch on her wrist band.
- Day 3 · 16:20
Free time at a market. Anna collapses in the heat. Nora is two blocks away with another group.
- 16:24
A Thai paramedic holds a phone to Anna's wrist band for one second. No internet needed: heart medication, shrimp allergy and Nora's number appear in Thai. The paramedic dials the number on the screen and reaches Nora.
- 16:30
Nora finds the hospital the paramedic named on the call on the WaveMed map and calls a car; the ride app opens with the destination already filled in.
- 17:00
Anna is stable in hospital, where her travel insurance details were already read from the patch. The agency gives head office and her family an accurate picture, and the next day's schedule goes on.
The patch speaks first; the app takes care of the rest
- Hold a smartphone to the RadPatch on the travel bag, wrist band or phone case for one second and blood type, allergies, medication and contacts appear in the reader's language: 27 languages, no battery, no internet, no login.
- Put the tour leader's number on every customer's patch and the agency never misses the first call. Add the optional insurance details and the local hospital sees them at once.
- 𝒱WaveMed is the free app for paramedics, emergency responders and fire crews: read-only, nothing can be changed. After 20 minutes of training, tour leaders use it to read a customer's patch themselves.
- Even without a patch, customers keep their vaccination history (travel vaccines and lot numbers included) and their travel insurance certificate in the free WaveMed app, ready to open when asked. Medicine Finder shows 1,000 medicines in 27 languages with the English INN, so a local pharmacist can see which drug they take.
- When it turns urgent, the map finds hospitals, clinics and pharmacies out to 2.5 km, nearest first, with the country's emergency number. The nearby medical centres search marks hospitals that run an emergency room, and local ride apps open with the destination filled in, in around 60 countries.

How to roll it out
- Choose the products that carry it (package tours, senior trips, student groups, independent-travel sales) and set quantities; we produce patches and information cards with your agency's logo.
- Path B for groups: at the pre-departure briefing, register the details each customer has chosen with WaveMed Desktop in passenger-list order, with the tour leader's number on every patch. About a minute per customer.
- Path A for independent travellers: sell the patch alongside tickets and insurance. Customers install the free WaveMed app (no account needed), enter their own details, write them to the patch and note their four-digit PIN.
- Give tour leaders 20 minutes of 𝒱WaveMed training. From then on, your agency runs it on its own.
Frequently asked questions
Does it overlap with travel insurance?
Insurance covers the cost after the accident; the patch covers the information at the moment of it. Put the insurance details on the patch and the local hospital sees them at once.
Can it be read with no signal, or in a disaster?
The patch needs no internet. When cell towers fall and the power goes out, as in the Nepal earthquake, it is read with a single rescuer's phone, and a foreign rescue team sees blood type and allergies in their own language.
Does it work for student groups?
Yes. With allergies and parents' numbers on each student's patch, it becomes a safety device the escorting teacher and the agency share. The patch holds only what was chosen for emergencies, and changing it needs the four-digit PIN.
